Ceremony & Reception Sites

 

When you plan your wedding at Hightower Falls you get to choose from two sites for your ceremony and from two buildings for reception.  Hightower Falls believes this is your day and does not hold more than one wedding a day.

Saturday Weddings

This wedding package includes eight hours the day of the wedding. This time frame includes three hours prior to the ceremony for vendor setup, decorating, getting ready, pre-pictures and five hours for the ceremony, reception and cleanup.

Friday and Sunday Weddings

This wedding package includes seven hours the day of the wedding.   This time frame includes three hours prior to the ceremony for vendor setup, decorating, getting ready, pre-pictures and four hours for the ceremony, reception, and cleanup. 

 

All Inclusive Package (on any Date)

Includes Venue, Wedding Coordinator, Florist, DJ, Catering and a 2 hour photo site fee waived for engagement or save the date photos.  

Venue Only Package (on any Date)

Includes choice of ceremony site and choice of reception hall and Day Coordination services.  Licensed, full-service caterer is required!

Elopement/Renewal of Vows Package (Monday-Wednesday Only)

Includes two hours at the venue for ceremony and pictures only.  Cost is $500 and we provide the grounds, archway, plant stands with ferns (when available) and up to 20 guest chairs, setup and cleanup.  There is no access to any buildings other than restrooms and no food or alcohol is allowed.  You bring your own Officiant and photographer.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

A minimum of $1,000 down payment to book your date. We only accept cash, check or can draft from you bank account.

Three scheduled payments are required after booking until final payment at two months before the event.  

Security deposit of $500 is required. Alcohol is allowed on the property with an additional $250 fee, licensed bartender and you must pay for an off-duty police officer, which we secure, from the time of the ceremony until the gate closes. Licensed, full-service caterer required.

 

 

In 1832 a cotton gin was built next to an 80-foot waterfall in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. In the 1850’s, a stone gristmill was also built.

With lack of usage, the wooden mill has since been lost to time. While the slate roof of the stone mill has fallen in, the walls remain today. 

The Gristmill Lawn sits at the base of the waterfall and accommodates larger weddings up to 300 people. 

 

 
 

The Back Porch Patio provides a beautiful view of the falls and gristmill with a stone isle-way in a more manicured setting. 

 

 

The Back Porch building is fully decorated, is heated and air-conditioned, and has a beautiful outdoor patio area. Inside, it has a large brick fireplace, dance area, serving kitchen and a creek side view nestled at the foot of the waterfall. We provide tables, chairs, tablecloths, and venue setup for this facility. Upon request, we can also provide various decor items such as bud vases and mirror centerpieces at no charge. Holds 75-150

Coosa Hall is a barn style building with rustic elegance that includes chandeliers and vintage decorations. It is fully decorated, is heated and air-conditioned, has an outside patio area, a dance area, serving kitchen and view of the waterfall. We provide tables, chairs, tablecloths, and venue setup for this facility. Upon request, we can also provide various decor items such as burlap table runners, mason jars, and wooden slabs for table centerpieces at no charge. Holds 150-300

Located on the property are eleven Camping Cabins which sleep up to four people per cabin (5 Queen beds, 24 bunk beds), and include electricity, mattresses, and ceiling fans. We also have a "den style" cabin with sofa, chairs, small refrigerator and TV.  All cabins are insulated and include both an air-conditioner and heater. Guests need to bring linens, pillows and all personal toiletries.

We also have a bathhouse and a covered pavilion. Picnic areas are located along the mountain stream, and there are woodland trails for hiking and a recreational field for outdoor activities.  We will rent the cabins the night of your event, checkout time is 9:00 am.  

Please note that we do not rent to individuals.  It must be part of a group event and all payments and reservations will go through the booking individual.
